About Me
L.G. (Lawan) McFerren was born in Guyana, S.A. and moved to the US at age 9. She started writing in elementary school and majored in Journalism while in college at the University of Maryland.
Some of her favorite books include The Hatchet and Pride & Prejudice. As a young girl she read every Nancy Drew and Trixie Belden novel she could get her hands on!
